Besides, the more the international organizations are founded in the world the more likely a state will adopt HRE (Moon, 2013). Lastly, the more international human rights organs providing HRE there are, the likely hood of a country adopting the HRE.
From the findings, it is clear that politically developed states are more likely to adopt HRE. Western states despite being economically advanced are not likely to adopt the HRE earlier than non-western countries. Also, countries that have experienced a history of good human rights record are not likely to adopt the HRE (Moon, 2013). It is also clear that the number of international organizations in a country impacts on the adoption of HRE. Lastly, increased HRE legitimacy when adopted by many countries influences other states to adopt the HRE. The study indicates that some of the hypotheses are positive while others are mere predictions. The likelihood of a state adopting HRE is influenced by a number of factors as seen in the above study.
