 Background/Literature Review:
Evidence has it that most of us experienced sleeping problems at one time or another. This is particularly normal and not temporary, and results from stress and other external factors. However, when sleeping problems become a regular occurrence and cause interference with daily life, then a sleep disorder may be diagnosed. Sleeping problems cause more than sleepiness. Evidence also has it that lack of sleep may have a negative impact on emotional balance, energy, and health. Several studies have been conduct to teach people about common symptoms of sleeping disorders and what one can do to help in the situation.
Research question
Does sleeping problem affect health?
 Method:
An experimental design was used with 50 person experimental group and a 50 person control group in order to limit sleeping problems among the victims. A pre-test, post-test, and a 2-month follow-up survey were conducted.
 Findings:
It was found that sleeping disorders are associated with irritable feeling and sleepy during the day, difficulty in concentrating, trouble controlling emotions, difficulty staying awake, react slowly among others. Among the experimental group, it was found that keeping a regular sleep schedule, setting aside sufficient time for sleep, and ensuring the bedroom is cool, dark and quiet will alleviate sleeping problems.
Article conclusion:
Sleep can be used as a barometer of one’s health. In most cases, people who are in good health tend to have a good sleep, while those suffering from repeated sleeping disorders and sleeping problems may have underlying mental or medical health problem, minor or serious. Sleeping well is crucial to people’s physical health and emotional well being. However, even minimal loss of sleep may take a toll on someone’s energy, mood, efficiency, and ability to address stress. Ignoring sleep disorders and problems can lead to poor health.
Good points of article:
The use of both male and female participants is encouraging because everyone has the same probability to get sleeping problems and disorder that may impact negatively on their health.  
Poor points of article:
The sample size was small and does not necessarily represent every sign and symptoms of sleeping problems and disorders.
